Over the course of my life I have been searching for my passion. I graduated from the University of Baghdad where I studied Engineering, after which I moved to Canada and was able to study natural medicine.
Over the course of my life, I found myself looking for ways to help those in need. Helping others has always been my calling in life—this charity represents the culmination of years of hard work and the chance to truly make a difference in the lives of children around the globe.

My introduction to helping those in need began at a young age—my mother used to hand out food baskets around Baghdad to the poor. Her kindness sparked a passion in me for helping others. After graduating from Baghdad University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, I left Iraq and moved to Canada.
While I worked in many different industries, the one constant in my life was helping those less fortunate. Founding Rescue Our Kids is a turning point in this journey—I’ve seen an abundance of kindness and compassion that motivates me to continue working towards a better tomorrow.

Being raised in a country that endured unfortunate circumstances made me aware of the suffering that people experienced every day. With a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Baghdad University, I have always wanted to lend a helping hand to those in need.
I first worked with not-for-profit organizations in Iraq and Jordan that aim to provide shelter, food, and clothing for war refugees and homeless families in the Middle East. When I moved to Canada, I wanted to establish a strong and credible organization that supports children, youth, and their families.
